Job Summary:

The Site Coordinator will effectively supervise, guide and coach staff, ensure program licensing compliance, and oversee the before/after school program.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

● Oversees the daily workflow, scheduling, and operations of the program.
● May assist with hiring and training of staff.
● Organize and delegate tasks to Assistant Site Coordinator, when applicable.
● Evaluates Assistant Site Coordinator performance and provides additional training and guidance.
● Manages, directs, and evaluates all staff.

Duties/Responsibilities:

● Helps coordinate the daily set-up and close-down of program to ensure children have access to a variety of developmentally-appropriate program resources and activities.
● Monitors activities, leads, assists, and acts as a role-model participant in both active and sedentary indoor and outdoor lessons, games and activities; supervises students during activities.
● Expands children’s experiences, extends their learning, and provides warm and caring support.
● Prepares and maintains student, staff,and programming reports, records, and other documents as required by or appropriate to the program’s administration and licensure.
● Completes administrative functions of the program such as: composing and distributing monthly newsletters; planning and preparing activity schedules; taking daily attendance; receiving and recording tuition; performing monthly fire drills and staff meetings
● Verifies snack orders provide a variation of healthy, nut-free options and completes or reviews snack calendars.
● Uses positive reinforcement and developmentally-appropriate guidance techniques and consequences to encourage appropriate behavior.
● Guides staff on appropriate guidance techniques.
● Communicates regularly with staff concerning identified behavioral or learning difficulties in children; suggests ways to improve the situation.
● Enforces safety and security standards for children, staff, and visitors.
● Communicates with parents about children’s daily activities; participates in parent conferences.
● Helps orient staff and provides on-site training, and helps nurture creativity and professional growth in staff.
● Maintains current certifications in CPR and First Aid; administers basic first aid and medications, and contacts parents or emergency services in case of a child’s illness or injury.
● Maintains a clean and orderly environment for the program.
● Actively responds to email and phone correspondence from families, coworkers, school personnel, etc.
● Attends workshops, classes, seminars, conferences, lectures, etc. to meet EEC professional development requirements and reviews school-age care regulations as appropriate.

Job Summary:

The Group Leader will effectively assist children develop and strengthen academic, physical and social skills. Group Leaders will be responsible for implementing enrichment programming (i.e. poetry, art, drama, music, dance, etc.) while ensuring the health and safety of each child in the program.

Duties/Responsibilities:

● Helps coordinate the daily set-up and close-down of program to ensure children have access to a variety of developmentally-appropriate program resources and activities.
● Contributes in serving daily, healthy snack options in an orderly manner

Behavior Technician (RBT preferred)

Job Summary:

This is a unique opportunity for an entry-level or experienced behavior technician who enjoys teaching skills in a real-world environment at an inclusion after school program in Lexington, MA. This position has a large focus on teaching social skills and life skills to school age children with autism spectrum disorder. The Behavior Technician (RBT preferred) will assist in delivering 1:1 ABA services and practice under the direction and close supervision of a BCBA.

Schedule:

Monday through Thursday 3-6pm or 3:30-5:30pm
Friday hours 12-6pm, 12:30-2:30pm, or 3:00-5:00pm
At least 3-5 afternoons per week required for hire

Duties/Responsibilities:

● Provides direct 1:1 client care in the inclusion after-school setting.
● Follows the individualized treatment plan (behavior reduction and behavioral skill acquisition) protocols.
● Collects and records data throughout each session based on client behavior and goals using an online data collection platform.
● Communicates with clients, parents, caregivers, and supervisor regarding client progress.
● Writes session note at the end of each afternoon & verifies each session with a parent signature.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Job Summary:

Kidsborough is hiring a part-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team and provide ABA services in our inclusion after-school programs! This is a unique opportunity for a BCBA who thrives on targeting adaptive skills in a real-world environment in an after-school setting in Lexington and Winchester, MA.

The BCBA will provide support to individuals and their families by coordinating and providing services in Applied Behavior Analysis, function analyses and assessment, behavior acquisition and reduction procedures, and adaptive life skills. A BCBA will also oversee programming of associate behavior analysts and provide ongoing support and supervision to Behavior Technicians as it relates to the implementation and documentation associated with Behavior Support Plans.

Unique Elements:

● Opportunity to have multiple clients on your caseload at one location. Limited travel in between clients.
● ABA program is BCBA-led with opportunities for continued growth.
● Enjoy a flexible schedule with adjustable hours and location, including a telehealth option for the parent training component. There is an on-site need for direct supervision of RBTs.
